The Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown is regularly a winter jumping highlight and this season's edition certainly matched that billing. The two-mile chasing division's new star Defi Du Seuil showed class in spades to travel powerfully into the lead before idling and almost throwing the race away. The 2016 winner Un De Sceaux belied his veteran status to fight back when headed and rallied to go down by a neck in a blanket finish with Waiting Patiently a never-nearer third. [Robbie Wilders]
