Last season's Arkle winner Put The Kettle On cemented her position as the young pretender in the two-mile chase division when winning the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham on Sunday.

The six-year-old has now won seven of her last eight starts and has connections dreaming she can become the first mare to win the Champion Chase back here in March.

She still has a bit to find to scale those heights on ratings, and may yet end up in the new Mares' Chase at the festival, but she is clearly going the right way and the division looks open.
