What you need to know to start your day including going from all the tracks
It may not be 'Super Saturday' but that does not mean there is nothing worth paying attention to this afternoon on a day that has something for everyone.
As far as the Flat is concerned, Newbury is the place to be, with the likes of the Group 3 bet365 Hackwood Stakes and the Weatherbys Super Sprint to look forward to.
If you are among those pining for some meaningful jumps action though, it's all about Market Rasen, with the Lincolnshire venue staging its summer highlight, featuring the Betfred-sponsored Summer Handicap Hurdle and Summer Plate.
In total, there are eight meetings across Britain and Ireland and if that is not enough, the wonderful Arrogate returns at Del Mar later tonight too.

What's on today
There have been some smart winners of the Weatherbys Super Sprint in recent years, with Mrs Danvers scoring 12 months ago, as well as the likes of eventual Group 1 winner Tiggy Wiggy and subsequent Hong Kong superstar Peniaphobia. Who will emerge this afternoon?
Meanwhile, JP McManus has no fewer than ten runners due to compete today, including the 2014 winner It's A Gimme in the latest edition of the Summer Plate at Market Rasen. How many winners can the powerful owner bag today?
What to back
The Racing Post's team of experts have picked out their best bets of the day.
Meanwhile, Pricewise is backing a course specialist to make a successful leap into Listed company.

It is the last meaningful day of action in the race for the yellow jersey, as the Tour De France field whizz around Marseille in an individual time trial that will decide the general classification. Matthew Ireland picks out his best bets on the stage.
It is also day three of the Open at Birkdale. Golfwise Extra has selected some bets to pep your interest: two big-priced outright selections and a couple of two-ball bets.
Final thought
We all love racing and finding winners is a huge thrill, be it as an owner, trainer, jockey or punter. However, yesterday's tragedy at Haydock puts everything into perspective and it is heartbreaking to think of Stephen Yarborough's family and friends waking up this morning and trying to come to terms with their devastating loss. All of our hearts are heavy today.
