What to bet on: a guide to Monday's punting options
On day five of the lockdown in Britain, racing fans can get stuck into meetings in France and Australia, as well as a host of other sporting events.
French fancies
Angers comes to the rescue of jumps fans with its first jumps meeting of the year, a seven-race card beginning at 11.25.
James Reveley returns from an injury sustained at Pau in December to ride Furax in the opener.
The 2016 French champion jockey has carved out a successful career on the continent and has won the last three instalments of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris.
Furax is trained by Philippe Peltier, who is also represented on the card by Espoir Du Grillon and newcomer Lady Lises.
Top-class football action
Wolves have enjoyed a stellar campaign back in the Premier League and attempt to win a fourth successive top-flight match for the first time since 1972 when they welcome Newcastle to Molineux (8.00).
Nuno Espirito Santo's side are currently seventh in the league and riding high after impressive victories at home to West Ham (3-0) and away to Everton (3-1).
However, Newcastle, who currently sit 17th in the league, are likely to prove a tougher test after beating Manchester City and narrowly losing 1-0 to Tottenham at Wembley.
It could be a tight affair, as is often the case with Newcastle's away matches, and the Racing Post Sport team are predicting a draw in their preview of the game.
Go for the greyhounds
There is plenty of greyhound racing on offer with five meetings in the UK and Ireland on Monday. Perry Bar, Swindon and Sheffield are the daytime offerings, with Yarmouth and Nottingham handling the evening shift.
Our Racing Post team like the look of Brackaville Jim (11.48) at Perry Bar and have singled out Bowline Cherokee (8.13) at Yarmouth in the evening following his all-the-way win last time.
Hawk could fly in Welsh Open
In snooker the Welsh Open begins on Eurosport (10.00) and the Racing Post team have singled out Barry Hawkins as a major player in their tournament preview after he reached the semi-finals of the Ladbrokes World Grand Prix last week.
Renowned for his consistency at the Crucible, Hawkins, who is currently ranked seventh in the world, has a habit of hitting top gear at this time of year with the Betfred World Championship on the horizon.
Whitewash in the West Indies?
The third and final test between the West Indies and England is finely poised, with the tourists hitting back following an all-too-familiar batting collapse.
Can Joe Root's team emerge with some pride and salvage some pride or will it be a whitewash for the hosts?
