What to bet on: a guide to Sunday's punting options

It might be day four of the lockdown for British racing, but there is still Punchestown for jump racing fans to get stuck into and plenty of other sports to have a dabble on.

What better way to spend your Sunday morning than untangling a monster ten-race card from one of Hong Kong's two tracks.

There is no shortage of familiar faces riding at the meeting, with Silvestre de Sousa, Neil Callan and Martin Harley among those in action.

A pair of turf handicaps, (6.00 and 8.10) are the highlights with first past the post scooping the not insignificant sum of £111,261.

All the races are live on Sky Sports Racing, but you will have to get up early for the whole card as it starts at 5am.

Other international offerings

Archie Watson and Michael Bell have taken advantage of the chance to race in France and have sent runners to Cagnes-sur-Mer for the two Listed highlights on an eight-race card.

Bell runs the unbeaten Plait in the snappily titled Grand Prix de la Riviera Cote d'Azur – Jacques Bouchara (1.17), while Archie Watson relies on Mango Tango in the same race, and later on Barys in the Prix de la Californie (3.42).

If that is not enough racing from around the world, then how about the Listed HH The President Cup at Abu Dhabi (3.00).

Connor Beasley, Jim Crowley and Pat Dobbs compete in the 7f race, which also features some horses who used to race in Britain, like Rodaini and Waady.

Go for the greyhounds

The Racing Post Greyhound TV host 12-race cards at Poole (6.04) and Central Park (6.09).

Raise An Eye (Trap 1) could be worth keeping a close eye on in the finale (9.11) at Poole.

Top-class football action

There are two intriguing Premier League contests on Sunday afternoon starting with Spurs hosting Leicester City (1.30). Tottenham are seeking their fourth successive win against the struggling Foxes who have lost five of their last seven.

Manchester City face another tough test in their pursuit of the Premier League title – they host Chelsea at 4pm on Sky. City have won ten of their last 11.

Elsewhere on the TV, Celtic host St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup (Premier 1, 1.30) and Norwich face Ipswich in the East Anglia derby (Sky, 12pm).

An engaging afternoon of rugby

England versus France is always one of the highlights of the Six Nations and they meet at Twickenham on Sunday afternoon (ITV1, 3pm).

The hosts were highly impressive when winning in Ireland last week and hope to back up that win against a French side, who will undoubtedly be disappointed after blowing a big lead against Wales last Friday.
