Weld bidding to continue his Meld domination with Adool
Hunt Cup hero Portage upped in class
8.00 Leopardstown
ICON Meld Stakes | 1m1f | Group 3 | ATR
Thanks in no small part to Famous Name, who continued his Leopardstown love affair by winning this race in 2010, 2011 and 2012, Dermot Weld has won this Group 3 four times in the last six years and he relies upon Adool to keep his stranglehold on the race.
We have only seen the Teofilo filly once but she created quite an impression when running away with a Fairyhouse maiden by four and a half lengths on the second day of last month.
