Turret Rocks bids for another solid show after Pretty Polly third

A field of seven fillies and mares are set to do battle in this Group 2, which Aidan O'Brien first won in 2015 with Wedding Vow.

After a long wait to record his first success in the race, the Ballydoyle trainer will be hoping to follow up relatively quickly and is represented by Elizabeth Browning and Pocketfullofdreams.

The Jim Bolger-trained Turret Rocks sets the standard and arrives here off the back of a solid effort when third in the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes at this track a fortnight ago.

Laganore could manage only fifth in the Pretty Polly but trainer Tony Martin will be hoping the five-year-old can return to form and notch her first success of the season.

The British challenge comprises the Archie Watson-trained Absolute Blast – second in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Epsom and then third in a Hamburg Group 3 – and Wilamina, who won the Nottinghamshire Oaks last time and represents Martyn Meade.

She seems to have taken the trip to Germany very well and I'm very happy with her. The faster ground will definitely suit and I think nine furlongs is probably her best trip on turf, so I'm very hopeful of another solid run.
