Three runners to look out for during tonight's action

The usual Monday evening fixture at Windsor is supported by Wolverhampton on Monday, while jump racing fans are catered for at Ballinrobe. Here are three runners to look out for.

Forever In Love 5.20 Wolverhampton

Vintage Stakes winner Expert Eye is very much the exception. Usually, Sir Michael Stoute-trained two-year-olds need at least a run to get going and Forever In Love looks an apt case study in the opener at Wolverhampton.

She was favourite for her debut at Lingfield, though looked too inexperienced to do herself justice. She is a Cheveley Park-owned filly who is bred to be useful, including as a two-year-old, so an improved showing will be expected in a novice in which the main danger is the twice-raced Indicia.Fabulous Saga 7.30 Ballinrobe

SPs of 4-6, 2-1, 4-9 and 5-4 told us quite clearly what to expect from Fabulous Saga in bumpers and he now starts off over hurdles for Willie Mullins with Ruby Walsh taking over in the saddle from the trainer's son Patrick.

Fabulous Saga came in too late to make an impact in the spring, but has looked useful in summer bumpers. Even then, that sphere is not expected to show him in the best light, given both his wide-margin point win and his hurdling debut now coming over an extended 2m51/2f.Rosie Alice 8.00 Ballinrobe

Again, SPs tell the tale here: 25-1, 16-1, 25-1, 20-1 and then 3-1 at the Galway festival. Charles Byrnes clearly thought he had got Rosie Alice back in good order for the big day less than a fortnight ago, when she finished second to Miss Eyecatcher.

This is no cakewalk, with Steamboat Quay the most obviously in-form contender, but Byrnes's money does not go awry for long and Rosie Alice, competitive from marks nearly a stone higher at her best, holds strong claims.
