- PAYING TRIBUTE: The Mark Johnston team has paid a touching tribute to Hari Singh Bhati, a long-serving and key employee at their Middleham yard who died on Thursday at the age of 41.
- HURDLING HEROES: Tomorrow's meeting at Carlisle will be a hurdles-only card with the two chases cancelled due to waterlogging. Either one or two of the scheduled hurdle races will divide to form a six or seven-race card.
