Today's news

  • RACING IN BALANCE:Ascot, Haydock and Lingfield have survived their early morning inspections, although Lingfield has another inspection due at 11.30 and the other two tracks are monitoring conditions because of Storm Dennis. It was not such good news for Wincanton, with its Kingwell Hurdle card cancelled due to a waterlogged track.

  • GREAT NEWS: Gigginstown racing manager Eddie O'Leary on Friday gave the green light to Tiger Roll going for a historic hat-trick in the Randox Health Grand National in April.

  • GET YOUR EYE IN: We have picked out one horse, jockey, trainer and race worth watching during today's action.

  • BLINK AND YOU'LL MISS HIM: Star sprinter Kachy (2.35) is back in action at Lingfield this afternoon. The Diamond Jubilee third carries top weight in the 6f handicap.

Today's tips

Graeme Rodway's top tip

Red Indian (2.25 Ascot)
Showed smart form when fourth in the Feltham at Kempton last season and looked on the way back when fifth at Haydock last time. That was his first run for 287 days and there should be plenty of improvement in the locker.
