We are set for a rare treat. The first day of the Tingle Creek meeting is not normally covered on terrestrial television, but ITV made the decision to add it to the schedule this year and has been rewarded with the hugely welcome and overdue sight of paying spectators being on course to witness the action.

Four races at Sandown headline the coverage on ITV4, which also makes a rare foray to the south-west as Exeter appears on the channel for the first time.
