Tanzeel bids to repeat last year’s victory in this £50,000 sprint handicap and the ground has come in his favour after trainer Charlie Hills played a waiting game during the wet spring.

The five-year-old did not reappear until the Newmarket July meeting, where he was well down the field in a 7f handicap. He had a similar campaign last year, winning this race on his second outing off a mark of 96.
