Who wins the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter?

Paul Binfield, Paddy Power Shark Hanlon didn’t have a runner at Cheltenham but makes a raid with Hewick, who has been tremendously consistent since being pulled up at Kilbeggan in August, including a comfortable success last time at Sedgefield in October. This is by some way the furthest he’s ever run, but he certainly wasn’t stopping over 3m5f last time and soft ground should be fine.

Charlie Poste, broadcaster and pre-trainer It’s very obvious but Time To Get Up was dropped 2lb for his last run and as a previous winner of this it’s got to be nailed on for him to give his running.

Richard Rowe, trainer Jonjo O’Neill’s horses are running very well and Time To Get Up remains well handicapped. He won the race last year and you can’t beat a horse who is proven over trip and track. He’s only had two runs since and is just 4lb higher in the weights.
