'She's seriously going places' - Megan Nicholls and Daniel Muscutt join the jury

It's Cambridgeshire day at Newmarket. Who wins the big one?

Owen Goulding, tipster I’ll go for Carolus Magnus at a big price. Slow starts have plagued his recent runs, but has still gone with credit and he should be suited by a busy and strongly run handicap like this. He is on a winnable mark and the last two runnings have been won at 40-1, so do not let the price put you off.

Daniel Muscutt, Jockey I fancy Jimi Hendrix. Ignoring his run at Goodwood last time, when he was drawn in the car park, he’s been consistently operating well at this grade. Mr [Ralph] Beckett is a good target trainer so this was probably part of a long-term plan. His high draw is a positive and he looks versatile with regard to the ground.

Megan Nicholls, broadcaster My pick is Savvy Victory. He dropped back in trip to 1m2f on his last two starts to be beaten a nose by Protagonist at Doncaster before winning impressively at Goodwood when ridden differently after being held up to use his turn of foot. He was much better suited to those tactics and dropping back to 1m1f shouldn't be an issue as they should go a strong gallop. He has a massive chance under Ryan Moore.
