Tipsters Tom Collins and Keith Melrose give their thoughts
What is your view on the Betway Handicap Chase?
Tom Collins, tipster It’s unoriginal but I put up Adrien Du Pont in my RFO column on Monday and it would be folly to change my selection now. He ran well to finish third in this race last year after a couple of bad mistakes and is 6lb lower in the weights this time around.
Pat Cooney, bet365 Whatmore appeals, as in a race of similar exposed handicappers, he comes here as a novice with just four runs over fences, including an unlucky run last time. He looks the type who will be competitive in these types of staying handicap chases in the future. His official rating of 138 makes him one to follow.
