Runners from across the Channel looking for more joy on Good Friday at Lingfield
France ruled on All-Weather Finals day last year with three of the seven winners at Lingfield hailing from across the Channel. While City Light and Funny Kid in particular were fancied in the market, the 40-1 success of Lucky Team made it a whopping 1,659-1 treble for French-trained runners, who are strongly represented this time around.
Amade (2.00)
Has won his last five races and looks among the bankers on the day. Very impressive at Chelmsford last time and Christophe Soumillon rides.
Cry Baby (2.30)
Two wins from her last three starts, including success in a 16-runner handicap last time, makes her an outsider to note.
Silvery Mist (2.30)
Not at her best last time but was beaten just a short-head in a Listed race in December on the back of three straight wins.
Forza Capitano (3.05)
Among the main dangers to hot-favourite Kachy, he has been placed at Group 3 level and looked good when warming up with a win at Chantilly last month.
Overall record of four wins from eight starts and looked better than ever when landing a first Listed success at Chantilly last month. A key player.
Among those at bigger prices but has not been out of the first three on his last four starts and has the assistance of Soumillon in the saddle.
Indyco (4.45)
Unlucky not to have won his last three, he appears to be progressing nicely and looks a danger in race won by a 40-1 shot from France last year.
