Can Blue Point do the Choisir double and win the Diamond Jubilee Stakes?

Pietro Innocenzi, Racing Post tipster He may have been slightly fortunate on Tuesday, with runner-up Battaash arguably undone by the draw. Furthermore, he's never been turned out again so quickly and has yet to win a Group 1 in Britain over this longer trip (nought from four). That's enough for me to want to oppose him.

Roger Varian, trainer It's a big ask to back him up only five days after winning the King's Stand but he seems pretty versatile whether it's five or six furlongs. He's a brilliant horse and there is no reason why he shouldn't go close.

Rishi Persad, ITV presenter I think he might struggle over a stiff six. Watching him at Meydan, and here at Ascot, he looks to have the perfect physique and racing style for five furlongs here as it sits right in his comfort zone; in all his races here over six he's wilted in the last half-furlong. In lesser company he's been able to hang on, but he's against top-class Group 1 horses who are specialists over six and they might just wear him down close home. Heart ruling head, I'd love to see The Tin Man do it again.
