Plunge horse: Ten Sovereigns challenging for July Cup favouritism
Forget the Frankie factor – Moore mania took over in the Darley July Cup betting on Saturday morning as Ten Sovereigns was backed into 4-1 (having been available at 10-1 on Friday) for the Group 1 event.
Dettori's mount Advertise was deposed at the head of the betting on Saturday morning in the wake of incredible support for Ten Sovereigns, who was cut to as short as 3-1.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained sprint star, on whom Ryan Moore will be bidding to land the Newmarket heat for the second year running, on Saturday afternoon eased slightly to 9-2.
Commonwealth Cup king Advertise regained favouritism as general 7-2 favourite. Dream Of Dreams, narrowly denied by Blue Point in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, is also well fancied and is no bigger than 9-2.

Ten Sovereigns was unbeaten as a two-year-old and won the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes over 6f on the Rowley Mile course at Newmarket.
He finished fifth when sent off favourite for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas in May and was then fourth when reverting to 6f in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, two and a half lengths behind Advertise, who reopposes on the same terms three weeks on.
Pat Cooney, representing bet365, reported Ten Sovereigns and stablemate Fairyland as leading liabilities for the firm in the race.
"It has been a surprising and sustained gamble," Cooney said. "He was well backed for the Guineas and at Royal Ascot, but there was no sign of support when declarations were made on Thursday.
"Fairyland was popular earlier in the week and the pair head our liabilities for the race."
