Jamie Osborne and Andrew Balding today attempt to give Britain a first victory in the Group 3 Polar Cup at Ovrevoll since 1999 as they send Boomerang Bob and Secret Hint to Norway.

Mark Johnston returned victorious with Gaelic Storm when it was known as the Polar Million Cup and prize-money is half what it was back then with a fund of 500,000 Krone (£44,400/€53,000) up for grabs for the seven-furlong contest.

Competing abroad is as much about the experience, however, and connections of Boomerang Bob are looking for an enjoyable time in Scandinavia.
