Trainer

It is a huge day for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin, highlighted by the return of last season's Derby champion Masar. He has not been seen since that famous Classic victory and takes on a quality field in the Hardwicke Stakes (3.40).

It could prove to be a great training performance if Appleby can get Blue Point to land the Diamond Jubilee after winning the King's Stand on Tuesday. The Godolphin trainer also has Epsom winners Pinatubo (2.30) and Space Blues (3.05) to look forward to.

Jockey

Andrea Atzeni has three decent chances of success on the final day of Royal Ascot, headlined by Coronation Cup winner Defoe in the Hardwicke Stakes (3.40).

Atzeni also has chances with Momkin in the Jersey Stakes (3.05) and Cape Byron, who was an impressive winner at this track last time out, in the Wokingham Stakes (5.00).

Horse

Few horses to have featured at Royal Ascot this week are as well- travelled as Rich Ricci's Max Dynamite. The admirable nine-year-old has finished placed in two Melbourne Cups, finished fourth in a County Hurdle and won the Lonsdale Cup.

He features in the Queen Alexandra Stakes (5.35), over 2m5½f, with Ryan Moore in the saddle and taking on the likes of Pallasator, Lucky Deal and Grade 1-winning chaser Black Corton.

Race

Saturday's feature race is the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes (4.20), one of the season's highlights for sprinters. Blue Point is the star name of the 18 runners, but Invincible Army is two from two this season and fancied to hand his trainer, James Tate, a first top-level success.

It looks a competitive running of the 6f event with international raiders City Light, Bound For Nowhere and Lim's Cruiser taking on more established names such as Kachy, The Tin Man, Sands Of Mali and last year's 2,000 Guineas runner-up Tip Two Win.
