One key runner to note from each of the ITV races on Saturday
1.50 Doncaster, 888Sport Handicap Hurdle
This seven-year-old looked a progressive type at the end of last season, capped off with an impressive seven-length win at Exeter. He made a decent comeback when fourth at Newbury in November and can continue his improvement in this wide-open handicap.
2.25 Doncaster, 888Sport Bet £10 Get £30 Handicap Chase
This nine-year-old is in the form of his life and is seeking a fourth consecutive win here. He was an impressive winner at Wetherby last time and bids to overcome a career-high mark of 152 in this competitive two-mile contest.
2.45 Kelso, William Hill Premier Novices' Hurdle
This novice hurdler looks a talented prospect for the Jennie Candlish team having won three of his four starts. He has a leading chance in this Grade 2 contest, although Calva D'Auge looks the one to beat.
Cill Anna
3.00 Doncaster, 888Sport Take 'Em On Mares' Novices' Hurdle
This five-year-old has recorded back-to-back wins at Warwick and Wincanton in eyecatching fashion. Trainer Paul Nicholls said the step up to three miles will suit and expectations will be high she can strike in Listed company.
Captain Chaos3.35 Doncaster, 888Sport Grimthorpe Handicap Chase
Dan Skelton's chaser put in a great effort to finish second in Warwick's Classic Chase last month, setting a good tempo and jumping boldly in front before being caught by the smart Kimberlite Candy. That was his best run for some time so perhaps he can go one better off the same mark here.
