Fusil Raffles
1.40 Cheltenham
From The Horse's Mouth Podcast Novices' Chase (Grade 2), 2m

The November Novices' Chase has thrown up a Cheltenham Festival winner four times in the last decade, including two Arkle winners. It looks a competitive six-runner heat this year but Fusil Raffles could prove a class above.

The five-year-old was up to Grade 1 standard as a juvenile hurdler and although he fell some way short in the Champion Hurdle last season, he has looked electric in two starts over fences. One of those starts resulted in a course-and-distance win last month in a time more than a second quicker than the 156-rated Rouge Vif recorded on the same card.

Aso
2.15 Cheltenham
Paddy Power Gold Cup Handicap Chase (Grade 3), 2m4f

We witnessed two hugely impressive weight-carrying performances by Rouge Vif and Frodon in handicap chases at last month's Showcase meeting, and Aso will attempt to do the same in the Paddy Power Gold Cup.

The ten-year-old was beaten 59 lengths by Min in the Ryanair Chase but is better than that and boasts a solid course profile, finishing second in the 2019 Ryanair and winning a similar contest to this on New Year's Day that year.

He has also appeared in this race before, finishing fourth in 2016, but he is very much a different animal now and, as the class act in the field, he should not be written off.

Tobefair
2.50 Cheltenham
Paddy Power Games Handicap Hurdle (Listed), 3m

Tobefair's rise through the jumps ranks for Debra Hamer and syndicate Down The Quay Club was a wonderful tale and he could put up another bold show at Cheltenham.

The ten-year-old looked badly in need of the run last month under first-time partner Jack Tudor, but his regular jockey Tom Bellamy is back aboard and better could be expected of last season's Stayers' Hurdle sixth. His best six performances on Racing Post Ratings have all come at Cheltenham, including two handicap wins.

Dubai Warrior
3.05 Lingfield
Betway Churchill Stakes (Listed), 1m2f

Dubai Warrior remains lightly raced after just eight career starts and while he has failed to impress on his two turf starts, he is five from six on the all-weather.

With last season's all-weather finals' day cancelled due to the first Covid-19 lockdown, Dubai Warrior did not get a chance to win the Easter Classic and he begins what is expected to be a similar campaign again. He is unbeaten in two starts at Lingfield and many will expect that to become three with a minimum of fuss.

3.25 Cheltenham
Paddy Power First Millionaire Qualifier Intermediate Handicap Hurdle, 2m5f

Nicky Henderson lowers his sights considerably with Son Of Camas after he was pulled-up in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle won by Envoi Allen.

Prior to his Tolworth Hurdle and festival defeats he had looked an exciting prospect after two wins at Newbury a year ago, and a mark of 133 is unlikely to be his ceiling following a second wind operation.

Judicial
3.40 Lingfield
Betway Golden Rose Stakes (Listed), 6f

Judicial has been a star for the Elite Racing Club and trainer Julie Camacho and could have another decent pot in him in the Golden Rose Stakes, a race he won last year.

The eight-year-old has been a model of consistency since that win, finishing in the top four on each of his subsequent five starts.

Despite having to give weight away to all because of his Group 3 win at Newcastle in June, it was a similar situation last year (had 3lb penalty then rather than 5lb this year) and he might be up to it.

3.55 Cheltenham
Karndean Designflooring Mares' Standing Open National Hunt Flat Race (Listed), 2m½f

Eight of the ten runners in the mares' bumper have a win to their name but Colours Of My Life is not one of them.

However, Alan King, who nearly scooped all three of the big races on ITV last weekend, has a record worthy of respect in this race with two winners in the last four runnings.

Colours Of My Life shaped reasonably when fifth at Newbury in February and could take a decent step forward.
