Michael O'Callaghan made no secret of the high regard in which he holds Holy Cat following her decisive debut win at Leopardstown last month – claiming that she was the pick of his smart team of two-year-olds.

And although she was beaten into second place by the talented Intelligence Cross in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh on her second start, O'Callaghan is hopeful of a big run from the daughter of Kitten's Joy.

He said: "The Round Tower might have come a little quick after her Leopardstown win and her inexperience let her down a bit as she was caught out on a wing with no cover. She won her maiden so easily that she learned very little from the race so last time helped her.
