Jim Bolger has fond recent memories of this Listed prize. Paene Magnus won back-to-back runnings of the race in 2012 and 2013, while Chance To Dance waltzed to victory in 2014. Mandatario could not continue his dominance last year when only third to Fire Fighting but he is back for more tonight.
However, having won a 1m7f handicap at Leopardstown in early June, Mandatario has been well beaten at the Curragh and Killarney and arrives on a retrieval mission.
