Penhill will be attempting to make it four wins from five attempts over hurdles when he faces four rivals in the Grade 3 Joe Mac Novice Hurdle.

A seven-length winner over this two-mile trip at Listowel on his most recent start, he represents the Willie Mullins/Ruby Walsh alliance who were successful with Bachasson a year ago. Mullins said on Saturday: "Penhill has done well for us over the summer and won well at Listowel last time. He's in good form and we're hoping he can maintain his improvement on ground which will be more testing than he has raced on before."
