Coolmore Magna Grecia Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes (Group 2) | 1m2½f | 4yo+ | RTE2/RTV

Few Group 2 contests have as classy a roll of honour as this Aidan O'Brien benefit, whose recent history in this contest features a host of big names.

It is sponsored by Coolmore and Ballydoyle stars from Magician to Magical, Camelot to Found and So You Think to Minding are among the top-notchers who have warmed up for the season with a successful reappearance here.

Fleeting, who was placed in the Oaks and Irish Oaks last year and was beaten a short neck in the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp on Arc day, is the filly bidding to give the trainer his tenth Mooresbridge win in 11 years and his 13th overall.

The only man to break the current stranglehold is Dermot Weld, who struck with Fascinating Rock in 2015 and tries to repeat that feat with Irish St Leger winner Search For A Song, for whom stable-mate Maria Christina might be deployed to help keep the fractions honest.

Joseph O'Brien, who won on Camelot and Magician, bids for his first training success in the 1m2½f event with former Irish Derby hero Latrobe and Numerian, who beat the odds-on Sir Dragonet at Naas in March.

What they say

Joseph O'Brien, trainer of Latrobe and Numerian
Latrobe has been a great horse for us over the last few years. I'm looking forward to getting him started again, he's in good shape. This is a lovely starting point and I don't think the trip will be any harm. Numerian is a stakes winner this year and has been progressive. We hope he can run a good race though this is a step up in class.

Jessica Harrington, trainer of Leo de Fury
He was just beaten by Buckhurst in a Group 3 last year and he's a lovely, big horse. He's taking on the best and they'll go a good gallop because Dermot has a pacemaker, but he's in good form and he's got to start off somewhere.

Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Fleeting
She's a lovely filly who is just ready to start. She's done well over the winter and is a tough, genuine filly. We're looking forward to getting her started.
