Noel Meade: 'Everybody knew yesterday was going to be tricky because of the amount of racing that was on and I thought they did a fair job in the circumstances.'

Noel Meade has landed this event twice in the past decade, winning with Blue Cannon in 2012 and Fisher Bridge in 2013, and he is represented by dual winner Dinard Rose, the mount of 5lb claimer Andrew Slattery.

Dinard Rose is one of two three-year-olds in the line-up and she and Building Bridges, one of two runners for Jessica Harrington, will be bidding to become the first of the age group to win the prize since Emrani won for John Oxx and Fran Berry in 2010.

A final-fence faller at Tramore on his most recent start, Linger represents the strong combination of Joseph and Donnacha O'Brien and was an easy winner over 1m6f at the Galway festival when last in action on the Flat.

Ben Coen, successful on the Charles Byrnes-trained Waterville Dancer a year ago, partners the versatile Cliff House for Dot Love. A three-time Flat winner, the nine-year-old finished second over 2m at Tramore on his most recent start.

Successful with Golan Guy in 2011, Tony Martin is represented by Upgraded and Our Rachael, while Charles O'Brien is also two-handed with Hurricane Sky, at ten the veteran in the line-up, and Mastermind.

What they say

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Flat To The Max
Going up in distance shouldn't be a problem as he is a stayer. We're hoping he'll get a share of the prize-money.

Kate Harrington, assistant to Jessica Harrington, trainer of Conron and Building Bridges
Conron came out of his hurdles run at Killarney very well and we're hoping for a big run. We think and hope Building Bridges will appreciate the step up in trip.

Joseph O'Brien, trainer of Linger
He's in good form and he stays well. Any rain they might get would help his chance.

Charles O'Brien, trainer of Hurricane Sky and Mastermind
Both of them are well. Hurricane Sky likes good ground whereas Mastermind could do with rain. Both stay well.

Noel Meade, trainer of Dinard Rose
She's in good order and the trip won't be a problem.
