Daryl Jacob gets on so well with him, the ground isn’t perfect but he goes on it and he just adores this venue with his record here almost flawless – 111121.
Marcus Buckland, analyst There hasn't been an Irish winner of the Betfair Chase since it’s inauguration in 2005, but it’s a race they tend to shun with just two runners in the past decade, and it’s hard to see past Henry de Bromhead's A Plus Tard. Last season’s Gold Cup runner-up has upwards of 6lb in hand of his seven rivals and ground conditions will be just about ideal.
