It may be only two days into the new year but Theatre Guide would be an early contender for the most poignant and emotional winner of 2021 if he is successful at Sandown.
For much of the 14-year-old's career, he was ridden out each morning and and totally adored by Kim Gingell, the daughter of trainer Colin Tizzard who tragically died of cancer last May.
