After a sensational Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday, Sunday's action has plenty to live up to and while it may struggle to hit the heights of Cracksman and co, there is no shortage of interesting runners and competitive races.

In the latest sign that the National Hunt season is kicking into gear, the jumpers return to Kempton (for how many more years will we be able to say that?), while they race on the Fibresand at Southwell and on the Flat over at Leopardstown.

With a Sha Tin card to get things going in the morning, there is plenty for punters to get stuck into.

Final thought

Despite the challenging weather, Ascot delivered another memorable British Champions Day and Cracksman's performance, just like his dad five years earlier, lit up the day. Roll on spring 2018!
