Key betting moves, going and non-runners
Not many runners but plenty of interest in the two big chases at Newbury this afternoon where Native River puts his Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup credentials on the line in the Betfair Denman Chase.
Just 35 minutes later, the progressive Altior bids to extend his winning sequence to nine in the Betfair Exchange Chase and consolidate his position as short-priced favourite for next month's Racing Post Arkle.
There is also plenty of interest at Warwick where Gordon Elliott has a rare runner in the shape of Whizzzey Rascal in the OLBG.com Mares' Hurdle.
There is a further inspection at Uttoxeter at 10am after the fleeces were found to be heavy to move following a snow storm.
