Carrig Cathal, owned by Tom Doran of Dorans Pride fame, steps up one furlong in trip as he bids for a four-timer following wins at Ballinrobe, Downpatrick and Listowel.
His trainer Gordon Elliott, who is also represented by Delegate, another three-time hurdles winner, said: "The testing ground wasn't ideal for Carrig Cathal at Listowel but he came out of the race well and is in good order.
