The much-anticipated return of Enable in this year's September Stakes has taken on extra significance with Crystal Ocean also lining up.

The Group 3 is obviously one to relish but especially so from an all-weather perspective as this is arguably the best race ever staged on a synthetic surface in Europe.

The top European all-weather performance to date earned a Racing Post Rating of 121, a level shared by five horses, the most recent of whom, Prince Bishop, won the September Stakes in 2014.
