Jumps trainers clearly do not like to miss a party. The opening race at Goodwood is specifically for jump jockeys, but that has not stopped their training counterparts from getting involved, with Grand National winners Nigel Twiston-Davies and Oliver Sherwood among those saddling a runner.
They are joined by the likes of Graeme McPherson, Chris Gordon, Jennie Candlish, Brendan Powell and Gary Moore in a race that could quite easily be replicated in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton in January.
