Jonjo O'Neill jnr and Andrew Thornton join our expert jury
Tipsters Tom Collins and Graeme Rodway give their thoughts
Is Cyrname a good thing for the Ascot Chase?
Tom Collins, tipster Yes. Cyrname is a course-and-distance specialist who is proven on soft conditions, should get his own way out in front and has 13lb in hand of his nearest rival – how can you take him on? Riders Onthe Storm is an interesting contender but needs to take a huge leap forward to deny the favourite.
Jamie McBride, William Hill I’m a big fan of Riders Onthe Storm and I hope he can give Cyrname plenty to think about.
Jonjo O'Neill jnr, jockey Cyrname is the big star on the card and will take all the beating. They felt he was a little flat in the King George but if he returns to the form of his win over Altior here then he’ll be hard to beat. It will be interesting to see how Riders Onthe Storm fares as he’s improving and looked good last time, but this is another step up.
