ITV Racing tips: one key runner in each of the ten races on ITV on Saturday
1.10 Sandown
Virgin Bet Novices' Handicap Hurdle, 2m4f
Milton Harris's exciting novice hurdler Twinjets is pitched into handicap company for the first time and looks to take his career record to 5-6. He beat Twin Power by nine lengths last time and that rival takes him on again on 8lb better terms.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Twinjets
Has jumped to his left but promising and may well be entering handicaps on a good mark
1.28 Musselburgh
bet365 Frodon Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m4½f
Notlongtillmay ran out an easy 16-length win over this track and trip last month and now faces a 10lb hike from the handicapper. Drumbear represents John McConnell, while Halo Des Obeaux represents the same connections of Frodon, who this race is named after.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Drumbear
Course hurdles winner who scored on his chase debut at Limerick and holds strong claims
1.45 Sandown
Virgin Bet Dolos Handicap Chase, 1m7½f
Three wins in this race for Dolos means the contest has been named in his honour, and the Paul Nicholls-trained ten-year-old arrives in decent nick following three solid runs. Frero Banbou is another course-and-distance winner, while Eclair D'Ainay, Fast Buck and The Widdow Maker are also respected.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Fast Buck
Emerged from the doldrums to win at Lingfield; still well treated on pick of old form
2.03 Musselburgh
bet365 Edinburgh National Handicap Chase, 3m7½f
Captain Cattistock and The Wolf battled out the finish of this race last season and both line up again. Slipway took well to a thorough test of stamina when winning the Southern National and he sets the standard on that form.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Doyen Breed
On a handy mark on last season's 3m novice chase form; trainer dab hand in marathon chases
2.20 Sandown
Virgin Bet Scilly Isles Novices' Chase (Grade 1), 2m4f
Gordon Elliott has picked Sandown over the Dublin Racing Festival for the unbeaten Gerri Colombe, who goes for a second top-level win and opportunity to bolster his claims for the Brown Advisory at the Cheltenham Festival. The classy Monmiral seeks a chasing breakthrough, while Balco Coastal looks to follow up a nine-length handicap win.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Gerri Colombe
Unbeaten Irish challenger; took Grade 1 at Limerick (near 2m4f, soft to heavy) last time
2.40 Wetherby
William Hill Towton Novices' Chase (Grade 2), 3m
Cheltenham Festival clues are on offer in Yorkshire with the Dan Skelton-trained Ballygrifincottage looking to enhance his Brown Advisory hopes. Last season's Albert Bartlett fourth can expect a decent trial with City Chief, O'Toole and Bellatrixsa taking him on.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Ballygrifincottage
Three-time point winner who looked good on his chase debut at Haydock; one to beat.
2.55 Sandown
Virgin Bet Heroes Handicap Hurdle, 2m7½f
Grand National contender Remastered is back over hurdles and aims for a third win of the campaign. His biggest dangers include Jet Of Magic, Call Me Lord and recent winner Flight Deck.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Remastered
Never better; hurdle and chase winner this term; mark is 10lb lower than his chase figure
3.05 Leopardstown
Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup (Grade 1), 3m
All eyes will be on the phenomenal talent Galopin Des Champs, who faces his stiffest test yet. The superstar, who currently tops the betting for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, takes on the classy Willie Mullins-trained stablemates Stattler and Kemboy. Fury Road and Any Second Now add further intrigue to the line-up.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Galopin Des Champs
Superior to six older rivals on official ratings, promise of even better to come over 3m
3.16 Musselburgh
bet365 Scottish County Handicap Hurdle, 1m7½f
Lebowski returned to the winner's enclosure with a fairly decisive victory at Wetherby in December. Last season's winner Socialist Agenda is back for another go, while Paul Nicholls goes for a third win in this in the last decade with Grivetana.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Lebowski
Ready winner on reappearance at Wetherby and could still be ahead of the handicapper
3.30 Sandown
Virgin Bet Masters Handicap Chase, 3m
Rapper and Eva's Oskar arrive here in winning form and are players in a wide-open event.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Bangers And Cash (Non-runner)
