ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the ten races on ITV this Sunday
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Maiden Stakes (Div I), 1m
Noble Mission took this race back in 2012 before his Group 1 glories and a host of powerful stables are represented in this informative maiden.
Snow Lantern, a daughter of 1,000 Guineas heroine Sky Lantern, takes on the regally-bred Derab, who is a half-brother to the great Enable and races in the colours of the late Khalid Abdullah.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Snow Lantern
Derab will win races but preference is for Snow Lantern who made a slow start when runner-up at Ascot last summer.
1.15 Ayr
Scotty Brand Handicap Chase, Listed, 2m½f
Harry Skelton is enjoying a purple patch in the race to be crowned champion jockey and has a great opportunity to extend his lead over Brian Hughes to seven with King D'Argent, an impressive winner of a handicap chase at Warwick last time out.
Hughes has ride in the race too on the Rebecca Menzies-trained Return Ticket as he tries to keep tabs on the high-flying Skelton.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Grand Sancy
Allowed to bowl along in front, Grand Sancy ran well for a long way over 2m4f last month. Today's drop back in trip looks a good move.
1.35 Newbury
Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Stakes, Group 3, 1m4f
Euchen Glen was one of the revelations of last season and the dual Group 3 winner bids to add another course and distance victory to his CV.
He faces heavyweight opponents in the unexposed Tyson Fury and Al Aasy, winner of the Group 3 Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket last season.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Red Verdon
Al Aasy could be a warm favourite but slight preference is for Outbox and Red Verdon who have a comparable chance on form.
1.50 Ayr
CPMS Novices' Champion Handicap Chase, 3m
Five Star Getaway has been a rapid improver through the ranks since the turn of the year and aims to cap a brilliant end to the season with a four-timer.
He has a notable rival in the Emmet Mullins-trained Pilbara, who represents the connections who had enjoyed great success with The Shunter before he was sold to JP McManus.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Flegmatik
This can go to Flegmatik, who looked poised to mount a challenge before a bad jumping error in the home straight at Uttoxeter in March.
2.10 Newbury
Dubai Duty Free Stakes, Group 3, 7f
Alcohol Free ended last season with Group 1 glory in the Cheveley Park Stakes and bids to cement her 1,000 Guineas credentials on her first try at 7f.
She re-opposes against fellow Newmarket hopefuls Happy Romance and Dandalla, who were behind her in that top-level event last September and bid to get back to winning ways.
Proven class can tell with Alcohol Free taken to come out on top. She is unpenalised for her win in last season's Cheveley Park.
Coral Scottish Champion Hurdle, Grade 2, 2m
The Dan Skelton-trained Calico has been all the rage for the race this week and the lightly-raced performer steps into handicap company for the first time.
He has a tough task on his hands against Milkwood, who was a respectable third in the County Hurdle the Cheltenham Festival last month.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Milkwood
A competitive renewal but there is lots to like about Milkwood, who was perhaps in front sooner than ideal when third at Cheltenham.
2.45 Newbury
Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes, Group 3, 7f
Chindit and Alkumait both disappointed in the Dewhurst Stakes and face off again as they bid to get the 2,000 Guineas claims back on track in this recognised trial.
Shock 150-1 Coventry Stakes winner Nando Parrado is also on the Classic trail as he makes his first appearance of the season.
Alkuwait is very promising but preference is for Chindit who did everything asked of him at two when getting good or quicker ground.
3.00 Ayr
Jordan Electrics Ltd Future Champions Novices' Chase, Grade 2, 2m4½f
The mercurial front-runner Allmankind has been a star performer this season and steps up in trip for the first time following his heavy defeat in the Arkle.
He faces a formidable opponent however in Tamaroc Du Mathan, who was an easy winner of a Grade 2 at Kempton on his latest start.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Tamaroc Du Mathan
Allmankind will be tough to reel in but this is a new trip and Tamaroc Du Mathan could make it interesting.
A host of unexposed handicappers clash in the ultra-competitive handicap. Two-time winner Troll Peninsula steps into this company for the first time and faces Danyah, who was not disgraced when fourth in the Lincoln behind Haqeeqy last time.
Nugget and Matthew Flinders also provide stern opposition among a deep field of 18.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Matthew Flinders
Troll Peninsular could be ahead of his mark now handicapping but Matthew Flinders is unexposed under his ideal conditions.
Coral Scottish Grand National, Grade 3, 4m
The feature race of the day, Scotland have a golden chance to register a famous home victory in their race with a nine-strong battalion.
The team is headed by Aye Right, who has been a model of consistency in top-class handicaps this season, while Dingo Dollar aims to plunder another big handicap for Sandy Thomson.
Paul Nicholls also has an interesting contender in Soldier Of Love, who mixed it with some smart performers previously last Autumn.
Chapel Stile is interesting but Chef D'Oeuvre has done more to suggest depths of stamina.
