A fascinating line-up in this top-level chase features last season's Gold Cup second A Plus Tard in a clash against Grade 1 winner Imperial Aura. The pair will have to contend with Bristol De Mai, the star of Nigel Twiston-Davies's yard, who is looking for a fourth victory in the race.

Gerard Bertrand Hurst Park Handicap Chase, 2m1f

Sky Pirate and Before Midnight renew their rivalry, with the latter coming out on top by six lengths last time at Cheltenham's Showcase meeting. Amoola Gold scored on his last start over course-and-distance for Bridget Andrews and Dan Skelton and dons first-time cheekpieces.
