Cheltenham Festival - ITV Racing tips
Racing Post experts pick their best bet for the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.
Nicky Henderson holds the key and Epatante gets the vote. She produced a peak performance when winning the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton and is still improving. The sole concern is her ability to handle the track, having finished ninth in the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle last year, but she is worth taking a chance on. (Jack Haynes)
La Bague Au Roi hasn't quite made the jump to the highest level but Warren Greatrex's gutsy mare appeals back in handicap company. The nine-year-old was far from disgraced when fifth in the Irish Gold Cup last time out and looks nicely treated off 149. (Kevin Morley)

Cheltenham Festival - ITV7 tips
The ITV7 competition is back for the Cheltenham Festival and will roll over each day if the jackpot is not won. Racing Post experts make their selections for the competition.
Race 1 - 13.30 Cheltenham
No horse has finished closer to Envoi Allen over hurdles than stablemate Abacadabras, who is preferred to Shishkin.
Race 2 - 13.45 Southwell
Gay Kelleway's gelding, Mukha Magic, has taken to Southwell like a duck to water and should be hard to stop in his bid for a course-and-distance hat-trick.
Race 3 - 14.10 Chelteham
The suggestion is Rouge Vif, who has been an improved performer in his two runs since a wind operation. Notebook is next best.
Race 4 - 14.25 Southwell
Preference is for Bedtime Bella, who has continued to run well since winning at the track in November and this is a drop in grade.
Race 5 - 14.50 Chelteham
Vinndication has the most potential in the field and he looked well ahead of the handicapper when winning at Ascot in November.
Race 6 - 15.30 Cheltenham
Epatante looks all class but she may prefer more of a test of speed and preference is for Darver Star who will relish this tough test.
Race 7 - 16.10 Cheltenham
Clear preference is for Benie Des Dieux, who was on course for a decisive win in this last year when falling at the last.
