Indomitable Doyle sets sights on Ireland as Bradsell tackles Phoenix showstopper
She has already conquered Britain and France this year and even has a local Group 1 to her name in Qatar but now the indomitable Hollie Doyle has her sights trained on a marquee Irish victory when she jets into the Curragh to partner the exciting Coventry Stakes winner Bradsell in what ought to be an absorbing Keeneland Phoenix Stakes.
Doyle’s relentless climb to the top of her profession over the past decade has run parallel to Rachael Blackmore’s emergence as the single most bankable star over jumps. Prior to this year, the main difference between the two was probably the access they had to their respective discipline’s most talented horses.
Blackmore has seized the opportunity on Henry de Bromhead’s elite performers to win two Champion Hurdles, a Gold Cup and a Grand National in the past two years.
