'I think he will win' - two panellists like the look of Ayr Silver Cup favourite
The Ayr Gold Cup is the Saturday highlight. Who do you like?
Paul Binfield, Paddy Power Punters may care to see if there is any noticeable draw bias in Friday’s Bronze Cup and today's Silver Cup, but without that possible insight Fivethousandtoone looks a tasty price. This fellow wasn’t disgraced in last year’s Dewhurst and reopposes with favourite Great Ambassador, who beat him three lengths at York last time, where the selection lost a shoe and is now 4lb better off.
Mark Johnson, commentator I like Bielsa, who performed remarkably in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood, running a solo in the centre of the course yet beaten only two and three-quarter lengths in sixth. All four of his wins have come under today's jockey Kevin Stott and trainer Kevin Ryan has won this four times.
Phil Makin, trainer I think a big run is on the cards from Ostilio, who is down the weights and has been shaping well over five furlongs. Paul Midgley's horses are going really well. We run Lahore and he ran well with a big weight last year and is better treated this time. The ground has been too lively for him on his last two starts.
