Highclere Thoroughbreds have yet to have a loser in 2022 and there is every chance the run could continue with Harrow, who has been rerouted here after missing the cut for last weekend’s Saudi Derby.

He mixed it with some of the best as a juvenile, winning three times and finishing third to subsequent Breeders' Cup winner Modern Games when last seen in the Group 3 Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket in September.

The Andrew Balding-trained grey is making his first start on the all-weather but is rated 5lb ahead of any of his six rivals and should be hard to beat.

Grenoble has already won over further than a mile at Nottingham so will have no problem with the trip and is rated 98 after a subsequent respectable seventh in a Group 3 at Leopardstown. William Haggas's three-year-old was gelded after that and the Newmarket trainer seems to have his team well forward.

Charlie Appleby won this a year ago with Highland Avenue but it remains to be seen if Blue Trail, is up to that level. The son of Teofilo was an easy winner of a mile novice at Southwell last month but the runner-up has been beaten since.

Of the others, Find has a six-length victory over Grenoble on his CV from Yarmouth last summer and is now rated 7lb lower than his rival after some average efforts at the backend. He has a bit to prove but has been gelded.

Wyvern has something to find on the figures and runs here instead of a handicap. He was impressive at Lingfield last time.

What they say

Ted Voute, spokesman for Prince Faisal, owner of Find
We had hoped to get him into the Saudi Derby but he wasn't rated high enough. It's great prize-money for the time of year and hopefully he can do better for being gelded. Hopefully he could get invited for the UAE Derby.

Harry Herbert, spokesman for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, owners of Harrow
We were aiming him at the Saudi Derby but always had this race as back up. Andrew Balding is very happy with him and says he has thickened out nicely from two to three. He's the highest-rated in the field so hopefully can run a nice race.

Stuart Williams, trainer of Wyvern
He was in a 0-95 handicap at Lingfield which unfortunately fell foul of Storm Eunice and was abandoned. There aren't any other races for him so this will tell us a bit more about him.
