Alan King so sweet on Pertemps fifth Who Dares Wins

If there's a stable to follow in this trickiest of handicap hurdles then it's undoubtedly that of Nicky Henderson.

Henderson has won it three times in the last five years, with Minella Forfitness, Theinval and, most recently, Rather Be, and he is strongly represented once again, with top weight Jenkins and Lough Derg Spirit.

I'm looking forward to running Who Dares Wins. He ran really well for fifth in the Pertemps but he didn't quite get up the hill and he'll be suited by dropping back in trip. He should have come on for that run and his efforts on the Flat suggest that this track will also suit him. I didn't expect Wilde Blue Yonder to make the cut, so that's a change of luck already for him.

He's in good form and we're trying him in a hood to see if it might bring about some improvement on his recent efforts.

He's been a consistent horse this year. It looks a very competitive race but he should be off a workable mark.

Evan Williams, trainer of Court Minstrel
He's not getting any younger and his chance all hinges on the ground. If it's dead he'll have no chance, but if it's on the good side he has each-way possibilities.

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Zubayr
He ran very well the other day over two and a half miles on ground that was plenty soft enough. He got into a bit of trouble on the softest part of the track but then stayed on strongly in the straight. On that running he should have a good chance in an open race, with Lorcan [Williams] taking off a handy 7lb again.

John Quinn, trainer of Project Bluebook
It's his first time at the trip, but on his Flat form you would have said it ought to be within his compass. He's in good form and we are hoping he'll run well.

Tom Mullins, trainer of Grand Partner
He's in great form. Going left-handed suits him so he has plenty in his favour. We're hoping for a big run.

James Nash, trainer of Massini's Trap
He's twice run over the course, winning over the trip and finishing third. He'll love the ground and has a nice racing weight, so we're hoping for a good run.

Ben Pauling, trainer of Cyrius Moriviere
He lost his way over fences and is a horse that thrives on confidence - his last couple of runs have been much better, especially his last one, so I'd like to think he'll run well, he's in the form to run well but my concern would be the ground getting too soft.

Tom George, trainer of Sumkindofking
Things haven't really gone his way this season but he's had a wind operation and a break, so we are hoping to get him back on track, although ideally we would have wanted better ground.

Seamus Mullins, trainer of Landin
We didn't expect to get in but we are pleased to be taking our chance. The Lingfield form has worked out well, and Daniel's claim will help this time after the 8lb rise. He's working well and won't mind the ground.

Kerry Lee, trainer of Eaton Hill
We saw at Ascot that he needs to go left-handed. He didn't handle the conditions at Uttoxeter next time and we've been saving him since for better ground.
