'He will take a lot of beating' - Willy Twiston-Davies joins the jury

The December Gold Cup is Cheltenham’s feature. Who wins?

Jamie Hart, the Tote There’s nearly £14,000 of dead money rolling into the Tote Trifecta so I’ll be perming up a few to hit the 1-2-3. Venetia Williams has a good record with younger chasers and Frero Banbou looks like he’s crying out for the step up in trip. War Lord is another who is suited by the trip while Storm Control will be underestimated.

Richard Hoiles, ITV commentator It is easy to presume Simply The Betts is thoroughly exposed but the more galloping nature of the New course should suit him better than the Old and he makes the most appeal at a big price off the same mark as his 2020 festival success.

James Stevens, tipster Il Ridoto is the West Country nap. He ran really well in the Paddy Power Gold Cup on his return, especially when you consider the three ahead of him had a prior run and he made a mess of the last. He is young and improving so there's loads to like, while his trainer is a master with runners in these sort of races. Coconut Splash would be my each-way pick.
