'He keeps catching my eye' - Tom Scudamore and Nick Luck on the big races

Cheltenham is back. Who's your idea of a winner on the card?

Owen Goulding, tipster Thank goodness Cheltenham is back! Editeur Du Gite (3.15) won twice at the track last winter and was not far off making it a hat-trick when fourth in the Grand Annual off this rating. His run at Aintree is best ignored as he did not stay and his record fresh makes him very dangerous. He should jump well for 3lb claimer Niall Houlihan and will be tough to catch.

Lee Jones, Betfred I really like Clear The Runway (3.15). He returned from a summer break with an easy win at Worcester and went up only 7lb. He may just have a fitness edge here with a couple of his rivals making their reappearance.

Nick Luck, broadcaster I like The Widdow Maker in the 2m handicap chase (3.15). He looked a bit of a tear away in his youth, but he started to get the hang of it towards the end of last year, and coped with the pace of a Grade 1 at Aintree pretty readily. I like the drop back to the minimum, and he’ll see out a well-run two miles better than some.
