'He has a huge chance based on his last run' - our panel delivers its verdicts
It's bet365 Gold Cup day at Sandown. Who wins the big one?
Tom Bellamy, jockey It's great to have last year's 1-2-3 in the field again for a rematch and I think Enrilo could get his rub of the green off only 1lb higher. I can see it being a similar finish as Potterman looked good last time on what essentially was his prep run.
Pat Cooney, bet365 As Mick Fitzgerald said on ITV, any trainer who make use of top Irish amateur Rob James and his 7lb allowance should be arrested for stealing. He's great value with that claim so I can certainly see him and Win My Wings going very well once again in their bid to add to their Scottish National victory.
Jack Haynes, reporter I'm going to take a chance on Streets Of Doyen back on his favoured decent ground. He shaped fairly well when third to subsequent Maghull winner Gentleman De Mee over two miles at Navan and had no chance in the Brown Advisory, but back in handicap company he is certainly of interest. He was third in the Albert Bartlett and fourth in the Sefton only last season.
