Group 1 winners lock horns in bonus Sandown clash

There is an extra treat in store for racegoers heading to Sandown today as a host of Group 1-winning Purebred Arabian stars are set to contest the HH Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup.
The £80,000 Group 1 feature, run over a mile at 1.20pm, features a clash between Sir Bani Yas, owned by the president of the UAE, HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and last year's winner Lahoob.
Sir Bani Yas won last year's Group 1 Qatar International Stakes at Goodwood and finished third in the race this time around.
