After weather disruption brought about the loss of the Welsh National meeting at Chepstow earlier this week and ensured there was no jumps action in Britain on Friday, normal service should be resumed on Saturday.

Leopardstown has provided some unmissable drama since Boxing Day but with no racing in Ireland, fixtures at Newbury, Haydock, Taunton and on the all-weather at Lingfield fill the schedule.

The feature race is the Grade 1 Betfred Challow Hurdle at Newbury, a race whose former winners include Barters Hill, Taquin Du Seuil and Reve De Sivola.

What to read

What to watch

There is another batch of Premier League matches and the Racing Post Sport team have analysed all seven.

Final thought

It has been a brutal week for Willie Mullins but if he can get to the bottom of what caused Faugheen to underperform on Friday and commits him to the Champion Hurdle then 13-2 represents massive odds.
