Going news, market movers and key punting pointers
With Cheltenham now a blissful memory it's time to warm the cockles on the fiery hearth of the new Flat season that's coming right at us.
It's the 32Red Lincoln on Saturday and time to start recalling all those Flat horses you might have forgotten about.
One that needs no introduction though is Spare Parts, whose six wins this winter would have him in pole position for the £10,000 prize awarded on Good Friday to the all-weather season's winningmost horse if Captain Lars had not gone and won seven.
Trainer Phil McEntee sets Spare Parts the job of making it seven at Kempton tonight on a day of three jumps meetings at Haydock, Chepstow and Limerick and further all-weather fare at Southwell.
