Who do you fancy in a deeply competitive Caspian Caviar Gold Cup?

James Hill, tipster Ireland have won this on a few occasions and their raider Chatham Street Lad is respected. However, I’m going to have a speculative interest on the fragile Benatar, who is returning from a spell on the sidelines but, crucially, has a decent record fresh. He was good enough to finish third in the JLT in 2018, has dropped 7lb in the weights since last seen, and should not be discounted.

Luke Harvey, ITV & ATR pundit I like Windsor Avenue. He’s lightly raced for his age, is well handicapped and has the best jockey in the country on him in the shape of champion Brian Hughes.

Keith Melrose, betting editor While Good Boy Bobby would not have beaten Master Tommytucker at Haydock with an 11lb pull, as he gets here, I think he will suit this race a lot better. He might even be a two-miler, but his prominent racing, slick jumping and smooth travelling are also traits that could lead to him thriving in this sort of race. For me, 14-1 is too big.
